Making an Impact: Our First Year as an Advocate at the Massachusetts Conference for Women

Making an Impact: Our First Year as an Advocate at the Massachusetts Conference for Women

This year marked an exciting milestone for our team as we proudly participated for the first time as an advocate sponsor at the Massachusetts Conference for Women. The experience was nothing short of inspiring, and we are grateful to have been part of such a powerful and uplifting event.

We are also honored to share that our involvement was recognized beyond the conference itself, we were featured in the following Sunday edition of The Boston Globe as a Community Advocate for the event. Being highlighted in such a well-respected publication made the experience even more meaningful and reinforced the impact of supporting initiatives that empower women.

As part of our sponsorship, we hosted an exhibitor booth centered around our theme: Impact. We wanted to create an interactive and meaningful experience for attendees, so we invited women to reflect on the people who have made a difference in their lives. At our booth, participants wrote down the names of those individuals on notecards and added them to our large “Impact” display. Watching the board fill up throughout the day was a powerful visual reminder of the influence we all have on one another.

We were also thrilled to share this experience with both City Wide team members and several of our valued clients. Being able to attend together made the day even more special, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone described the event as inspiring, energizing, and a great opportunity to connect.

Throughout the day, attendees had the chance to participate in engaging breakout sessions, hear from incredible guest speakers, and network with a community of driven, like-minded women. Each session offered valuable insights, and the speakers delivered messages that were both empowering and motivating.

From start to finish, the energy of the conference was truly unforgettable. It was a day filled with learning, connection, and inspiration, and one that reinforced the importance of supporting and uplifting women in both business and life.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of this event and look forward to continuing to make an impact in the years to come.

At City Wide Facility Solutions, we believe that good business is beyond the services we provide—it’s also about being a force for good in the communities where we live and work. Supporting local nonprofits and community initiatives is more than a mission—it’s a pillar of who we are.

Here are just a few of the recent partnerships that reflect our ongoing commitment to making a difference:

YMCA Taste of the South Shore

We were proud to sponsor this flavorful fundraising event that brought together the region’s top culinary talent, community leaders, and generous supporters. The night was filled with great food, fun, and philanthropy—all for a great cause.

NECC 5K Walk/Run for Autism

City Wide sponsored a water station for this powerful event supporting the New England Center for Children. Since its start, the event has raised over $2.4 million to help children with autism and their families—an incredible testament to the power of community support.

More Than Words: More Than Dessert

This sweet event gave us the opportunity to support an inspiring social enterprise run by young adults. Guests enjoyed a night of delicious desserts while learning about the meaningful work these youth are doing to shape a better future.

Heading Home Housewarming 2025

We proudly donated to this impactful event at Citizens House of Blues, which featured local food, live music, and a keynote from NFL linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley. The event raised funds and awareness for families transitioning out of homelessness.

Lead Like Her Women’s Breakfast

For the second year in a row, we were proud to serve as a leading sponsor of the Lead Like Her breakfast with Be Like Brit. This inspiring event created a space for women leaders to come together, share their journeys, and uplift one another. It was a morning filled with meaningful connections, powerful stories, and a strong sense of purpose.

These partnerships highlight the kind of business we strive to be—one that leads with heart, lives its values, and shows up for the communities we serve.

Inaugural Lead Like Her Women’s Breakfast: A Warm Welcome and Genuine Connections

City Wide Facility Solutions was proud to sponsor the inaugural Lead Like Her Women’s Breakfast for the local non-profit Be Like Brit. This breakfast, held at the Sheraton Framingham, was intentionally crafted to emphasize building meaningful relationships over traditional networking. This approach resonated with the diverse group of women leaders present, each bringing their unique experiences and perspectives.

The breakfast setup encouraged open conversations and collaborative interactions. Instead of the usual business card exchanges, participants engaged with local woman owned vendors, packaged over 500 feminine product kits for local girls in need and left with a complimentary headshot!

The “Lead Like Her” Library: A Treasure Trove of Wisdom

One of the standout features of the event was the “Lead Like Her” Library. This initiative invited attendees to share their favorite books that have inspired their professional and personal growth.

The success of the “Lead Like Her” Library has inspired us to keep this initiative active beyond the breakfast event. We encourage everyone to please continue building it by sharing your favorite books through this link: Lead Like Her Library. By doing so, we can maintain a dynamic and ever-growing resource that supports our collective professional growth and look forward to sharing it as we get closer to our second Lead Like Her Breakfast!

A Heartfelt Thank You

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended the inaugural “Lead Like Her” Women’s Breakfast. Your enthusiasm, openness, and generosity made the event truly special.

As we look forward to future events, we remain committed to creating spaces where genuine connections are made. Thank you for being a part of this journey, and for helping us build a brighter, more connected future.

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our second Lead Like Her Breakfast in May 2025 and look forward to seeing you there!

Convention Impact: Gigi Playhouse

Convention Impact: Gigi Playhouse

Gigi’s Playhouse has the mission to change the way the world views Down syndrome and send a global message of acceptance for all. They change the lives through the consistent delivery of free educational, therapeutic-based, and carer development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community, through a replicable playhouse model.

At City Wide Facility Solutions, our mission is to always create a ripple effect by positively impacting the people and communities we serve.

During the annual City Wide Facility Solutions Franchise convention, we partnered with Gigi’s Playhouse and raised almost $600,000 for the organization. This led to a direct impact for them and they announced that they would be opening a new brick and mortar location.
